The company thesis
Systematic investing has strong tools for research, market data and execution, but the decision between an approved strategy and portfolio capital is often fragmented. Once multiple strategies exist, investment teams must repeatedly decide which strategies still deserve capital, how much risk they should receive and how those decisions should change as evidence evolves.
Prospect is being built to make that decision process continuous, portfolio-aware and traceable. The operating thesis is explained in more detail in our guide to systematic portfolio management.
The initial product wedge
The first focus is deliberately narrow: monitor the changing reliability of systematic strategies, identify meaningful changes in behaviour, put those changes in portfolio context and help generate a clear capital response inside explicit risk limits.
Over time, the product can expand across the full operating loop: research standards, portfolio risk, allocation, decision logging and controlled execution. Initial deployment is intended as analytics and decision support, with customers retaining discretion over capital deployment.
Founder
Prospect was founded by Fred Boxer after independently building and operating automated systematic trading systems with AI-assisted development. The experience created a broader product insight: creating another strategy was less interesting than building the infrastructure that determines which strategies deserve capital as evidence changes.
Fred is Founder & CEO and currently leads product direction, systematic workflow design, fundraising and the company build. Prospect is open to an exceptional cofounder fit and plans its first specialist technical hire around AI/ML engineering.
Current stage: pre-seed, pre-product and building V1. Prospect is speaking with potential design partners, investors and founding technical talent.
